Brightspace OAuth2 Bootstrapping

How To

1. create an OAuth2 extension on the Brightspace instance, making sure the callback URL is https://brightspace-bootstrap.ifed.rug.nl/callback
2. create a user on the Brightspace instance you want to use for this integration, it is recommended to start the username with oauth2-; make sure it has appropriate privileges
3. make sure this page is in an incognito window to make sure it is not logged in to Brightspace with the wrong account
4. open a new tab and log in with the user created at step 2; shortcuts:
   • test
   • staging
   • production
5. fill in the form below, and submit
